AGEL boosts BESS capacity to 6.63 GWh
India, Oct. 2 -- Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), India's largest renewable energy company, has expanded its operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity to 6.63 gigawatt-hours(GWh) at Khavda, Gujarat, from 3.55 GWh in June 2026. AGEL nowaccounts formore than 50% of India's operational BESS capacity of about12.6 GWh.
