India, April 18 -- Gautam Adani is now the richest person in Asia. The billionaire has overtaken Mukesh Ambani. This comes on the back of gains in Adani Group stock values. Ambani was Asia's richest for many years before this shift.

As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index latest data, Gautam Adani's net worth has climbed to $92.6 billion, helping him secure the top spot in Asia and placing him 19th globally. Mukesh Ambani, who had long held the position, now follows closely with a net worth of $90.8 billion, ranking 20th in the world.
