India, May 12 -- Marking a significant milestone in the industrial landscape of Madhya Pradesh, the Adani Group on Sunday performed the bhoomi pujan for its new cement grinding unit in Guna.

The project, representing an investment of over Rs 1,060 crore, is the largest ever for the district and is expected to generate approximately 1,500 direct and indirect jobs.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, alongside State Power Minister Pradhuman Singh Tomar and Food & Civil Supplies Minister Govind Singh Rajput.
