India, July 27 -- The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised Tiranga Yatras, tribute gatherings, and nation-awareness programmes across universities, colleges, and cities on Sunday to mark the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas, while simultaneously condemning what it described as objectionable and inappropriate remarks against the Indian Army made by anti-national elements at Jantar Mantar during the recent CJP protest.

The events were held across New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jammu and Kashmir, Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Chandigarh, with millions of students and young people participating in what ABVP described as a reaffirmation of the spirit of Nation First.
