India, April 16 -- Delhi recorded a strong overall pass percentage of 97.38 per cent in the Class 10 board examinations declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday, reflecting stable academic performance across the capital.

Among the two administrative zones, Delhi West performed slightly better with a pass percentage of 97.45 per cent, while Delhi East recorded 97.33 per cent. A total of 3,45,227 students from Delhi appeared in the examination, out of which 3,36,176 successfully cleared it.

At the national level, CBSE reported an overall pass percentage of 93.7 per cent. More than 55,000 students across the country scored above 95 per cent marks, while over 2.21 lakh students secured more than 90 per cent....
