India, Aug. 28 -- Over 80 days after an FIR was registered for alleged sexual assault at Juhu Chowpatty, the complainant has written to the police alleging that the accused has not been questioned or arrested.

In a letter dated July 14 to the police, the complainant expressed distress over the pace of the investigation.

"I am struggling to cope with the feeling that the man who committed this heinous act against me is still free and has not even been questioned," she wrote. "I cannot stop thinking about the fact that the person who did this to me continues to live his life without having to answer a single question from the authorities, while I am left reliving that night again and again."
