4 killed as car overturns and collides with truck on highway in Maharashtra
India, Aug. 11 -- Four young men were killed and two others injured after their car hit a road divider, overturned and collided with a truck on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway in Maharashtra's Satara district in the early hours of Tuesday, Aug 11 police said.
10 a.m. on the Satara-Pune lane of NH-48 at Shirwal in Khandala tehsil, and affected traffic on the busy route, PTI reported.
"A car was heading from Pune towards Satara when the driver lost control. The vehicle hit the divider and overturned, after which it veered into the opposite lane and collided with a truck," a highway police official said.
