India, Sept. 10 -- A total of 25 candidates have been provisionally cleared to contest for the post of president in the upcoming Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections, according to a notice issued by the university's chief election officer on Thursday.

The provisional list includes candidates from various colleges and departments, including Law Centre-II, PGDAV College, Department of Buddhist Studies, Campus Law Centre, SPM College, Lakshmi Bai College, Ramjas College, Sri Aurobindo College, Hindu College and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.

The university also provisionally cleared 20 candidates each for vice-president, 24 for secretary and 19 for joint-secretary.
