India, June 2 -- A shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut has come to light where a 17-year-old national-level kabaddi player was allegedly murdered over a dispute of just Rs 3,600. The victim, identified as Anushka Pal, had been missing for over six weeks before her body was recovered from a drain in the Kankerkhera area.

According to police, the main accused in the case is a fast-food vendor who operated near the victim's residence. Investigators said the dispute began over unpaid dues of around Rs 3,600, which escalated into a fatal confrontation. The accused allegedly attacked the teenager with a brick and later dumped her body in a drain to destroy evidence.
