India, June 22 -- NCC Group Headquarters Guwahati, NER Directorate, celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with over 1,000 NCC cadets performing synchronised Yoga across Guwahati, Dubri and Kokrajhar, under the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing".

At the main event in Army Public School, Narangi Cantonment, Guwahati, NCC cadets from units across Kamrup Metro and Guwahati practised Yoga in unison following the Common Yoga Protocol. The session was conducted in collaboration with experienced instructors from North East Yoga and Meditation Centre, Guwahati.
