India, June 11 -- The internal crisis within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has intensified after senior leader Kalyan Banerjee issued a sharp warning against party national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, deepening speculation of widening divisions within the party.

Kalyan Banerjee, a long-time loyalist of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, said that while he continues to support "Didi", he would not accept what he described as Abhishek Banerjee's "arrogance." His remarks come at a time when the party is already facing a wave of resignations and internal rebellion.
