India, June 5 -- Popular educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir, has been named in a First Information Report (FIR) registered in connection with the vandalism at his coaching institute in Patna, police officials said on Friday.

The incident took place on Tuesday night when a group of around 15 to 20 individuals allegedly vandalised the premises of Khan Global Studies Institute and pelted stones at the coaching centre, causing damage to the property.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikeya Sharma confirmed that Khan Sir has been named in the FIR and will be questioned as part of the ongoing investigation. However, the police have not yet disclosed the specific charges under which he has been booked.
