India, June 17 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a strict stance against police personnel creating social media reels while on duty, describing the practice as a form of indiscipline that undermines the professionalism of the force.

Addressing officials during a review meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that police personnel should remain focused on their responsibilities and maintain decorum while serving the public.

Adityanath said that officers who are known for making reels or social media videos during duty hours should not be deployed at sensitive locations.

He stressed that the police uniform represents discipline, service, and responsibility, and should not be used for social media showmanship.
