ZAMBOANGA CITY, July 21 -- The Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority and Freeport (Zamboecozone) turned over a check amounting to P1.8 million to the local government on Monday, demonstrating its steadfast commitment to driving inclusive local growth and fulfilling its statutory obligations.

Zamboecozone Chairman and Administrator Raul Regondola personally handed over the revenue share check to Mayor Khymer Adan Olaso during a formal turnover at the City Mayor's Office.

In a statement Tuesday, Regondola emphasized the essential role the economic zone plays in directly fueling the city's overall development.
