Manila, Aug. 9 -- Malacanang has ordered the implementation of work-from-home (WFH) arrangements in government offices and alternative learning modes in schools in Metro Manila and 14 provinces on Monday amid continued heavy rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon (habagat).

Under Memorandum Circular No. 123, signed by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto by authority of the President, WFH arrangements will be implemented in government offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Zambales, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Tarlac, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro and Bulacan.
