Manila, March 22 -- Alyssa Valdez was voted Press Corps Player of the Week for leading Creamline to a 25-19, 25-20, 15-25, 26-28, 16-14 victory over Cignal in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference preliminaries at Playtime Filoil Centre in San Juan City on Saturday.

The Cool Smashers skipper delivered 22 points, 13 digs, and 13 receptions to earn the citation given by print and online reporters covering the pioneering professional volleyball league organized by Sports Vision.

She beat Farm Fresh's Royse Tubino and Trisha Tubu, Akari's Eli Soyud, Nxled's Brooke Van Sickle, and Choco Mucho's Sisi Rondina.
