MANILA, July 27 -- University of Santo Tomas came from behind to take down College of Saint Benilde, 22-25, 25-8, 25-12, 25-22, and rule the 2026 Shakey's Collegiate National Invitationals at Playtime FilOil Centre in San Juan on Sunday.

The Golden Tigresses won all their seven matches.

Team captain Regina Jurado delivered 21 points on 18 attacks and two aces, while Most Valuable Player Angge Poyos chipped in 20 points on 16 attacks, two aces and two blocks as the Golden Tigresses snared their first title after a third-place finish in the inaugural edition three years ago.
