The Tigresses and the Lady Chiefs meet at 3 p.m.

UST, banking on rookie Kim Rubin and Pau Escober, swept San Beda University, 25-15, 25-16, 25-19, on Aug. 16.

Arellano, on the other hand, relied on Cassey Florida to pull off a 25-20, 25-22, 25-15 victory over reigning National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) champion Letran.

Meanwhile, San Beda and University of Perpetual Help try to enter the win column at 5 p.m.

The Perpetual Altas lost to the Adamson University Lady Falcons, 21-25, 18-25, 22-25, also on Aug. 16.
