Manila, March 2 -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has assured the Filipino community, including their families back in the Philippines, that the country is secure and stable, amid the escalating tension in the Middle East.

In a statement on Monday, the UAE Embassy in Manila said Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, in a recent television interview, provided clear reassurance that the situation in the UAE remains stable and fully under control.

The UAE Embassy said Al Hashimy emphasized the country's firm commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all residents, including the large and valued Filipino community in the UAE.
