Manila, Sept. 23 -- The trough of a tropical depression (TD) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) will continue to bring rains over several areas on Wednesday, the weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the TD will cause scattered rains and thunderstorms across Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Oriental, Misamis Oriental and Camiguin.

Flash floods or landslides are possible due to moderate to heavy rains.

The TD, located 1,920 kilometers east of southern Luzon as of 3 a.m., is expected to enter the PAR this week and will be named Queenie.
