Manila, Oct. 27 -- Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. will have a bilateral meeting with his United States counterpart, Pete Hegseth, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Defense Ministers-Plus (ADMM-Plus) in Cebu this week.

"Definitely with (US Department of War) Secretary Hegseth we will have a bilateral as well as a squad meeting, and I will have bilaterals with almost all," he said during the Association of Asia-Pacific Peace Operations Training Centers 13th Annual General Meeting and Workshop 2026 in Makati City on Monday.

The 13th ADMM-Plus and the 20th ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) will be held in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, on Oct. 28 and 29.
