Manila, March 27 -- Local telecommunications companies (telcos) assured the public of continued, uninterrupted mobile and broadband service nationwide amid the ongoing national energy emergency caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
In a statement on Friday, Globe Telecom (Globe) assured its services will "continue without disruption and as close to normal as possible" through the activation of its business continuity plan (BCP) to ensure a stable network amid concerns over fuel and energy supply.
Under its BCP, Globe will implement an expanded work-from-home scheme as well as other energy-saving measures and the prioritization of network fuel and energy needs.
