Manila, Feb. 26 -- The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) has been named among the 'best airport in Asia Pacific' in the 5-15 million passengers category of the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Customer Experience Awards, airport operator Aboitiz InfraCapital announced Thursday.

"This ASQ Customer Experience Award is especially meaningful because it reflects the genuine voice of our passengers - the very people we serve every day," Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corporation chief executive officer Athanasios Titonis said in a statement.

The awarding ceremony is scheduled during the ACI World Airport Experience Summit in Istanbul, Turkiye, from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4.
