Strict waste management enforced across PNP units
Manila, Aug. 14 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday said it has strengthened its waste management measures across all offices and units as to help address the country's garbage issues.
PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said police personnel must lead by example in keeping their workplaces and communities clean, stressing that everyone has a role to play in addressing the disposal problem.
This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure proper waste management in communities as part of measures to address the adverse effects of improper waste disposal, like flooding.
