MANILA, July 14 -- St. John's Institute-Bacolod downed Pusong Azul, 25-20, 25-17, for its second straight win in the 2026 Shakey's Juniors National Invitationals Monday at the Playtime FilOil Arena in San Juan.

Caera Celis finished with 16 points on 12 attacks, three aces and a block for the Falcons in the 57-minute encounter.

"Bumawi kami ngayon (We made up for it today)," said Celis, who was efficient on her attacks with a 12-of-18 spiking clip.

"We prepared last night because we had lapses in our last game. We tried to improve on our skills today," she added.
