Manila, Aug. 4 -- The Social Housing Finance Corp. (SHFC) on Tuesday signed a partnership agreement with the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) and awarded land titles to 20 beneficiaries as it launched the month-long celebration of the 38th anniversary of the Community Mortgage Program (CMP).

SHFC President and Chief Executive Officer Federico Laxa and PCUP chairperson Undersecretary Michelle Anne Gonzales signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in expanding access to government housing programs for more urban poor communities.

The agency also awarded transfer certificates of title to beneficiaries from the Samahang Mapalad ng Amparo Homeowners Association and Villa Enrico Heights Homeowners Assoc...
