Manila, Oct. 29 -- The shear line will bring scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms to parts of Luzon on Thursday, particularly Metro Manila and areas in the island's central and southern sections, the weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in Metro Manila, Region 4-A (Calabarzon), Aurora, Bulacan, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur.

Moderate to heavy rains could trigger flash floods or landslides, PAGASA warned.
