Manila, Sept. 23 -- The city government has designated Sept. 25 as Community Service Day, directing local government offices to participate in activities aimed at providing services to residents and improving public spaces.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong, in Executive Order 131-2026, said the activity will run from 8 a.m. to noon as part of the city's celebration of the Brand of Excellent, Extraordinary and Zealous Employees (BREEZE) Awards and its 117th Charter Day.

The order directs city offices to designate representatives to participate in community service activities in the central business district and other identified areas.
