Manila, Oct. 13 -- Senator-judge Raffy Tulfo on Friday shifted scrutiny from Vice President Sara Z. Duterte's financial records to the lawyers around her, questioning why none appeared to have steered her away from legal issues that he said have now surfaced twice in her impeachment trial.

"Ang sisisihin ko po dito ay ang mga nakapaligid kay VP Sara (I blame the people around VP Sara for this)," Tulfo said during the interpellation of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Office of the Commissioner chief of staff Anne Loraine Garcia-Marquez.

"Ipinahamak nila siya (They put her in jeopardy)," he added.
