Manila, Sept. 7 -- The Senate on Monday approved five resolutions concurring with international agreements covering aviation safety, cross-border criminal cooperation, space liability, recognition of higher education qualifications and double taxation.

The chamber approved Proposed Senate Resolution (PSR) Nos. 622, 624, 625, 626 and 628, sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Relations.

Zubiri earlier described the aviation and space agreements as "long-overdue treaties," saying their adoption would strengthen protections for Filipinos as international travel and space activities continue to expand.
