Manila, Sept. 21 -- Vice President Sara Z. Duterte remained a director and held a 20 percent stake in Metro City Chow Foods Corp., a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) official testified Monday before the Senate impeachment court.

SEC Company Registration and Monitoring Department Director Gerardo Del Rosario said the company's General Information Sheets (GIS) listed Duterte as a member of its board from 2022 through 2025.

Private prosecutor Erwin Matib questioned Del Rosario about the corporate filings, Duterte's board position and her ownership stake in the company.
