Manila, Sept. 15 -- Target beneficiaries have also received higher education program grants and scholarships under the Marcos administration's "Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat" drive, according to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

This comes as CHED Chairperson Shirley Agrupis joined the nationwide simultaneous Handog ng Pangulo activities held in Marinduque.

"Despite recent hardships, Filipinos are always ready to unite and overcome adversity, which is why the government is actively bringing its services directly to different provinces across the country," she said in a statement late Monday, extending the message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
