Manila, March 26 -- The government's efforts to provide basic services to the Filipinos affected by the Middle East crisis will be the main topics in the Kapihan ng Samahang Plaridel on Friday at the La Casa Restaurant, Rizal Park Hotel in Ermita, Manila.

Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Cacdac leads the Friday Kapihan, which also includes Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Commissioner Joel M. Viado of the Bureau of Immigration (BI).

Cacdac will talk on the launching of the Recruitment Industry Crisis Coordination Council which is geared at helping distressed overseas Filipino workers in the Middle East.
