Manila, Aug. 21 -- Executive Secretary Ralph Recto has urged American firms to expand their investments in the Philippines, highlighting the country's strategic position and favorable investment climate.

Recto made the call during a recent 2026 Philippines Business Mission at Conrad Manila, the Office of the Executive Secretary said Thursday.

During the event, Recto called on members of the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) to "stay in the Philippines," expand their operations and build their future in the country.

"That is the partnership we want - not just one business mission, but generations of investment, innovation, jobs, and shared prosperity between the Philippines and the United States," he said.
