MANILA, July 27 -- The southwest monsoon or "habagat" will continue to bring rains over large parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Sunday.
In its 24-hour public weather forecast issued at 4 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains due to the monsoon.
Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Calabarzon, and the rest of Central Luzon, Ilocos Region, and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
