Manila, Sept. 24 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) expands access to comprehensive social protection programs through its Pamilya sa Bagong Pilipinas (PBP) initiative that is being implemented across target pilot regions.

The PBP operations, which are being held in hubs inside SM malls, are in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to streamline social welfare access and bring government services closer and directly to vulnerable Filipino families.

The PBP hubs coordinate services based on the life transitions and needs of individuals and families, while strengthening access to financial and non-monetary assistance.
