Manila, Aug. 19 -- The House prosecution panel on Wednesday backed moving Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial to 3 p.m. onward and adding Friday as another trial day to speed up proceedings following weather-related disruptions.

House impeachment team adviser and spokesperson Ace Barbers said an afternoon schedule would allow senators and House members to attend to legislative work in the morning, while an additional Friday hearing could help the impeachment court make up for lost time.
