TACLOBAN CITY, Oct. 15 -- Police arrested the region's top priority drug target and seven other individuals in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Eastern Visayas on Oct. 12 and 13, seizing suspected shabu worth more than PHP1 million and several firearms, the Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8) said.

In a report released Wednesday, PRO-8 said the operations led to the confiscation of suspected shabu valued at PHP1.03 million, along with firearms and ammunition.
