Manila, Sept. 10 -- Operatives of the Police Regional Office-Soccsksargen (PRO-12) arrested eight drug personalities and seized over PHP1.6 million worth of "shabu" during the Simultaneous Anti-Crime Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) on Sept. 8 and 9, an official said Thursday.

"The drug personalities were arrested in the provinces of Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani, and North Cotabato during intensified anti-drug operations," said PRO-12 Director Brig. Gen. Alan Manibog in a report.

In the campaign against loose firearms and explosives, police units confiscated 11 explosives and seven assorted unlicensed guns.
