CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, May 26 -- The Police Regional Office (PRO) 10 (Northern Mindanao) on Monday honored its officers for successful intensified operations against illegal mining and smuggling in the region. In a ceremony, Col. Aaron Mandia, PRO-10 acting deputy director for Administration, led the pinning of the Medalya ng Kagalingan (Medal of Excellence) to Maj. Clyde Cajocson and Capt. Erwin Rubrico. The two were behind the arrest of suspects and confiscation of smuggled cigarettes totaling PHP1.7 million in Iligan City and Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte, respectively.
