Manila, May 4 -- The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) on Monday announced that toll collection on the C5 Link Expressway will not push through as scheduled, pending inter-agency consensus amid rising fuel costs and the declared state of national energy emergency.
In a statement, the PRA said the Notice to Start Collection (NTSC) issued by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) for Segment 3B of the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (MCTEP) will depend on the outcome of deliberations by the project committee under the joint venture agreement.
"The timing of the implementation of the NTSC shall depend on the result of the deliberations and agreement of the MCTEP Project Committee," the PRA said.
