Manila, Sept. 22 -- The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has signed a five-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (PoABI) to deepen cooperation in port development and management.

The MOU was signed by PPA General Manager Jay Santiago and PoABI Head of Business Development Maartje Driessens on Monday at the PPA Head Office.

In a statement on Tuesday, Santiago said the agreement covers knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the adoption of international best practices in the Philippine port sector.
