Manila, May 5 -- The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has identified one of the two suspects behind a shooting at the corner of Timog Avenue and EDSA that left two people dead.

In a press briefing Tuesday, Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuano said that four latent prints recovered from the motorcycle used by the suspects have yielded results.

The motorcycle was found abandoned hours after the ambush on April 28.

"Puwede lang namin i-share sa inyo, identified na po 'yung isa doon sa dalawa (What we can only share with you is that one of the two suspects has been identified)," Tuano said without providing further details, citing ongoing manhunt operations.
