Manila, Sept. 13 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) recorded 86,614 incident calls through the nationwide Unified 911 emergency response system during its first year of operation, with 96.38 percent receiving response within the five-minute benchmark.

The figures were released Saturday as the PNP marked the first anniversary of the Unified 911, which was launched nationwide on Sept. 11, 2025 as one of the flagship programs of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) under Secretary Jonvic Remulla.

The Unified 911 provides the public with a single emergency access point and has expanded to nine command centers nationwide to improve the reach and coordination of emergency response services.
