Manila, July 1 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday expressed support for the proposal to implement mandatory bag inspections in schools across the country.

This is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., through the guidance of Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla, to strengthen measures that will ensure the safety and security of students, teachers, and school personnel in learning institutions nationwide.
