Manila, Sept. 17 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) is pursuing closer collaboration with Slovak law enforcement agencies to strengthen training, knowledge exchange, and public safety initiatives in response to evolving security challenges.

PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. welcomed Slovak Ambassador to the Philippines Milos Koterec during a courtesy visit at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Tuesday.

In a statement on Thursday, Nartatez emphasized the PNP's commitment to fostering strong international linkages and exploring strategic partnerships with its Slovakian counterparts.
