Manila, May 28 -- Telecommunications company PLDT is looking to offer solar power solutions to the public through a subscription bundle with its existing internet services.

In a statement on Thursday, PLDT announced its plan to introduce a pioneering collaboration with a solar energy provider to combine high-speed internet connectivity with renewable energy systems, helping customers stay connected while managing electricity costs.

"Initial test marketing activities have generated highly promising results, with strong consumer interest in an integrated digital and energy solution that offers both convenience and long-term savings," it said.
