Manila, Sept. 8 -- The Philippines logged its strongest performance in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) since its participation in 2018, outranking other participating countries in 2025 results, the Department of Education (DepEd) said on Tuesday.

PISA is an international assessment conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in over 90 countries and economies that measures the skills of 15-year-old learners in Reading, Math, and Science.

The 2025 PISA was participated in by 8,072 15-year-old learners across 208 regular public schools, public science schools, and private schools.
