Manila, March 19 -- The Philippine creative economy grew 6.9 percent to PHP2.12 trillion in 2025 from PHP1.98 trillion in 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said Thursday.
The sector accounted for 7.6 percent of the country's gross domestic product.
Symbols and images, and related activities posted the largest share at PHP670.15 billion, or 31 percent of total gross value added. This was followed by digital interactive goods and services at 19.7 percent, and advertising, research and development, and other artistic services at 15.9 percent.
Creative employment dipped 0.4 percent to 8.71 million from 8.74 million a year earlier, but still made up 17.8 percent of total employment.
