PH agri startups, micro-agripreneurs pitch products in Taiwan
Manila, Sept. 11 -- The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Friday said 10 Philippine startups and micro-agripreneurs showcased their products and technologies at Taiwan Smart Agriweek 2026, seeking to attract interest from international markets.
In a statement, DA Secretary Francisco Tiu underscored the significance of the initiative to help Filipino agribusinesses thrive beyond the country's borders.
"Bringing our agri-startups to Taiwan and other international markets opens doors to investment, technology, exports, and commercial partnerships," he said.
"These opportunities can help promising Filipino enterprises scale while creating more value and opportunities for our farmers, entrepreneurs, and workers."
